Laura is a Trustee for at Citizens Advice North Lancashire
Laura has worked in education at Bowerham Primary and Nursery School since 2012 where she joined as an NQT, before progressing onto an Assistant Headteacher. She leads the Pastoral Team and contributes to the daily operations of the school. Additionally, Laura heads up the Professional Development team, focusing on supporting new teachers.
Laura's passion for Bowerham Primary and Nursery School drives her to serve the children, families, and local community, believing in making a meaningful difference. Furthering her community involvement, Laura recently became a Trustee for Citizens Advice North Lancashire in September 2023. This role enhances her connection to the community and deepens her understanding of local needs and support needed.
In her own time, Laura loves to spend time with her family and being out in the fresh air walking her dog. She also loves to read and enjoys hosting dinner parties and being around friends.
