Out and about in the Community

Since the pandemic, we have not been open for drop in appointments due to our building not being suitable. However, our Advice Matters team has been out and about working in the community and seeing clients all over the District.

If you are in need of advice and you'd like a face to face appointment we can make one for you - or you can go and see our Advice Matters team in the following places over the coming weeks!

Morecambe Arndale Centre

We are at Morecambe Arndale along with the Lancaster City Council Customer Services and Community Connectors teams every 2 weeks from 10am - 3pm.

The next one is Wednesday 24th November, 8th December and 22nd December (although on that date we will only be there until 12.30). January dates are yet to be confirmed and we will release these as soon as we have them.

Carnforth Fire Station

We are at Carnforth Fire Station 1st December 10am - 2pm and 12th January 10am - 2pm.

St Nic's, Lancaster

We are at St Nicolas's Arcade Lancaster on Saturday 18th December 10 - 3pm. January dates are TBC.

The Bay Information Hub

We are at The Bay Information Hub (formerly Dementia Hub) the first Friday each month 1.30 - 3.30. The next one is Friday 3rd December at The Trimpell Club, Morecambe. In January (7th) It will be at The Cathedral Social Club in Lancaster.

Carnforth Memory Hub

The Carnforth Memory Hub is at The County Hotel 2pm - 4pm. The next one is Monday 6th December. The dates for early 2022 are 10th January, 14th February, 14th March, 11th April.

Heysham Health Centre

We restart the advice sessions at Heysham Health Centre next week on Wednesday afternoons from 24th November weekly, They will run weekly and appointments can be made via any of the Bay Medical Group surgeries - not via Citizens Advice.

Positive Futures

We are starting advice sessions at Positive Futures on Wednesday 1st December in the afternoons and they will run fortnightly with appointments being made by Positive Futures - not by Citizens Advice so please contact them directly for an appointment.


During Christmas week we will be closed and there will be no outreach services.
